NEO Catering By Nuevo, formally known as Nuevo Catering, started in the industry in 2013 and we are located in Cleveland and Akron, Ohio. Lisa started in the restaurant business in 2002, starting as a prep cook, and shortly moving to bartending at The Amber Pub. In 2003, she started serving for Saffron Patch in the Valley. In 2005, she became General Manager of Saffron Patch. Here she found her niche for front of the house management and the gift of gab. In 2006, Lisa obtained a Master’s degree in Nutrition and Science, from Kent State University, and is currently a Registered Dietitian at Akron General Medical Center. She has been trained in food service management, food safety, and clinical nutrition. Mexican food is not only her favorite food but she is very excited to share her husband’s culinary talent with Akron.


Zack realized he wanted to cook while taking Home Economics class in 1988. Born and raised in Highland Square, he has always worked in and around Akron. His first paying job was at the Akron Art Museum, where he served soda at art lectures. Since then he has been working in the foodservice industry such places as the Mustard Seed Market, Piatto (under Roger Thomas), The Bistro on Main, and the Amber Pub, where he was the Executive Chef. The opening of Nuevo ends an 8 year stint as the sauté chef at Crave.

Jimmy Pintiello – Chef de Cuisine

Jimmy Pintiello is the Chef de Cuisine at NuevoCleveland. Jimmy has been cooking professionally for nearly 20 years. Spending time briefly in Las Vegas at RM Seafood, fish and seafood became a huge passion for him and began to help shape his culinary philosophy. Jimmy had an opportunity to work in Los Angeles, and that became another big step on the foundation of flavors and cooking styles with which he became enamored. Additionally, as Chef de Cuisine, Jimmy brings a strong love of French cooking and hopes to blend this expertise with the Modern Mexican style that has made Nuevo so successful. In keeping with the philosophy of Nuevo, Jimmy is focused on the use of local ingredients, on sustainable seafood practices, and sustainable agriculture.


Erin has been working in the restaurant industry for 14 years.  She has been with the Nuevo family since the opening of the Akron location in February 2014, expanding and learning in all aspects of the company.  She graduated with her Bachelor’s degree from The University of Akron, in The College of Health Sciences and Human Services. She has always had a passion for event planning which allows her to utilize her creative side to give people an experience that leaves an impression to take with them.


Jennifer has been in the restaurant industry for over 10 years. She has been with Nuevo since July of 2016. Jennifer’s passion is creating unique and one of a kind wedding cakes.


D’Ana is a graduate from the University of Akron with a degree in Applied Science in Criminal Justice Technology. D’Ana has worked in the service industry for 22 years developing skill in all front of the house positions perfecting her passion for the industry.
